Devil's Claw (Proboscidea parviflora)

Everything on this plant—stems, leaves, flowers, fruit—is fuzzy. The SEINET web page for this species refers to "snapdragon-esque pink flowers, which resemble an open mouth with a yellow nectar guide inside." The green fruits look a little like fuzzy green chiles. When the fruits dry out they split at the ends, resembling a skeletal cloven hoof.
