Little-Leaf Alumroot (Heuchera parviflora)

This plant is characterized by a flower spike rising from a basal rosette of rounded leaves. The flower is mostly green with a yellowish inside, but includes a few pathetic-looking white petals.

Coralbells (Heuchera pulchella)

Coralbells are also known as Sandia Alumroot or Sandia Mountain Alumroot. Characteristics of this plant (besides its love of thin soil on top of bedrock) include stalks with small pinkish flowers on the upper halves, emerging from low mats of lobed rounded leaves.
