Purslane (Portulaca oleracea)

If I was lost in the woods and looking for something to eat, purslane would be one of the few things on my list. There are other plants that form ground-hugging mats with small leaves, which definitely don't belong in your mouth. Purslane is distinguishable from them because of its succulent leaves and stems.
